The Role

We are offering a number of exciting opportunities to join our Community Engagement team! In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and conducting community engagement and communication strategies
  • Producing reports for Council
  • Project managing engagement strategies
  • Working closely with the community to record and find solutions to Council related issues
  • Translating complex technical information

The successful applicants will have excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills. This job is suited to applicants with a background in community engagement, communication, community development, or research. This position will involve manual handling tasks, as well as occasional weekend and evening work.

 We currently have a number of opportunities available:

  • Limited Term up to 3 years – Part time (28 hours per week)
  • Temporary up to 12 months – Maternity Leave Cover - Full time (35 hours per week)
  • Relief List opportunities – you will be called upon for temporary opportunities subject to operational requirements
