Casual Medical Administration Assistant

Casual Position during School term time

Central Coast Grammar School is a leading K-12 independent, coeducational and nondenominational school.   Located on a single 19 hectare campus overlooking the Matcham Valley close to the heart of Erina, our school offers a spacious environment where students can grow and flourish.

We have a casual position available for a Medical Administration Assistant on a casual basis, during School term time. This position is responsible for the coordination of medical/medications and health information for students across the school. Different tasks are to be undertaken during each term, with the bulk being in Terms 1 and 4.

To be successful you will need to possess and demonstrate:

  • Previous experience as a Nurse, or other health care background
  • Knowledge and understanding of medical requirements for students
  • Ability to collect, monitor and update care plans
  • Monitor and coordinate the update of medications for students via parents
  • Collect, monitor and update information using internal systems as required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good administrative skills, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability
  • A commitment to the strategic direction and ethos of the School

The school complies with the requirements of the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012. The position requires the successful applicant to have a Working with Children Check in accordance with the Act, prior to employment.
