Auto Electrician

The position

An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Auto Electrician to join our Mackay Field Service Team. Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying all all aspects of repairs and maintenance including diagnostics of heavy earthmoving equipment across multiple sites in the Bowen Basin. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with an experienced team of qualified trades people and be responsible for the following;

  • Ongoing maintenance and service of Emeco/client equipment and machines
  • Ensuring all maintenance repairs are performed in accordance with Company guidelines and within cost targgets
  • Providing support to the Eeco rental fleet as required
  • Working with Emeco customers to meet company objectives

We are looking for

  • A nationally recognised trade qualification in Automotive Electrical Technology
  • Demonstrated previous experience working on heavy earthmoving equipment namely, Caterpillar, Komatsu & Hitachi
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Current High Risk Work Licence and Working at Heights qualifications
  • Current ARC Refrigeration Licence and relevant demonstrated experience
  • A strong commitment to safety and high level of reliability
  • Ability to work as part of an effective team
  • A "can do" attitude
