Customer Concierge Operator - Part Time - Parramatta Contact Centre

Service NSW is seeking Expressions of Interest to create a talent pool for upcoming part time Customer Concierge Operators in our Parramatta Contact Centre. We have both ongoing and temporary positions available.

About Service NSW

Service NSW is making it easier for people and businesses across NSW to access government services. Since launching in July 2013, we have successfully transformed and streamlined NSW Government service delivery with cutting edge digital solutions and an award-winning culture of passion and teamwork.

Our customer-centric solution offers simpler and faster access to government transactions through our digital channels, a telephone service, Mobile Service Centres, and an expanding network of Service Centres.

We currently partner with more than 50 agencies to offer in excess of 1,000 NSW Government transactions including driver licences, vehicle registration renewals, applications for birth certificates, Senior Cards, Housing NSW payments, fines, contractor licences and many more.

About you

Our business is rapidly growing and we are searching for proactive and motivated talent to join our contact centre teams.

To step into the Customer Concierge Operator role, you must be passionate about delivering a great customer experience, every day in every way. You enjoy providing high quality customer service and being the first point of contact in a contact centre environment. You will also be comfortable working to KPI’s achieving individual, team and customer goals.

Typical day for Customer Concierge Operator

  • Respond promptly to customers through a range of media including phone, online click to chat, email and/or other channels on a wide range of services.
  • Triage and identify out of scope enquiries to appropriate resolver groups within the external to Service NSW.
  • Record, maintain and administer accurate information about customers enquiries, sources of information and levels of assistance provided.
  • Undertake administrative work as required to support the provision of high quality service delivery.

What we are looking for

  • Customer service experience – dealing with customers in a contact centre environment]

  • Attention to detail – handling information with accuracy

  • Computer skills – ability to utilise a number of computer systems

  • Communication skills – ability to read and adapt to different scenarios

Operating hours:

You may be required to work rotating shifts including afternoon and evening work from Monday to Sunday, consecutive weekend shifts and also work on public holidays. Please note that there are no set fixed shifts.

Remuneration:

Package for Customer Concierge Operator roles includes a base salary range of ($53,464 - $57,970).

These amounts will be pro-rated for part-time hours.
