Automotive Electrician Apprentice - Altona

AGA are seeking individuals to undertake an Automotive Electrician Apprenticeship to work with an organisation based in Altona. The successful candidates will work full time for 4 years whilst completing a ‘Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology’.  
  
Responsibilities:
  • Diagnosing Electrical problems with Heavy vehicles and machinery
  • Installing new wiring systems
  • Repairing wiring systems  
  • Interpretation wiring diagrams
  • Service  Automotive Electrical parts
  • Look after and test equipment, and construct prototypes and final assemblies
  • Undertake complex automotive electrical workshop functions
  • Assemble, install, test and calibrate electrical installations to conform with regulations and safety requirements
Role Selection Criteria:
  • Aptitude for technical and engineering activities 
  • Capacity for accurate, careful work
  • Good communication skills
Requirements:
  • Drivers licence (preferred)
  • Pre Apprenticeship (preferred)
  • Willing to travel
  • Willing to undertake a Police Check and/or Medical
  • Genuine interest in the automotive electrical industry
AGA Apprentices will:
  • Attend accredited RTO/TAFE training
  • Receive ongoing mentoring & support
  • Receive a weekly wage including entitlements
  • Obtain personal protective equipment
