RECEPTIONIST & ADMIN ASSISTANT

 

THE OFFER

A salary package in line with experience is offered. Training and support will be provided to ensure the successful candidate prospers in our busy and dynamic office environment. Ongoing guidance, skill development and career advancement are all offered as we consider them integral to maintaining our strong and close-knit Admin team. We ideally seek a candidate who wants to grow with our business in a long term role. Even though the office is always very busy, we focus on keeping the atmosphere positive, providing an enjoyable workplace and working together as a team.

 

THE POSITION

 

The role involves providing support for the architectural practice and includes but not limited to:

  • Greeting clients & managing calls
  • Mail, document production & typing
  • Admin & Finance record management
  • Acting in relief capacity for other admin roles
  • Equipment management & consumables ordering
  • Supervision & support for casual and or junior staff
  • Typing of specifications and other complex documents
  • Data Entry as required
  • Office Maintenance

 

 

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • MINIMUM 2 years’ experience in a Reception/Administration role
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Corporate standard phone manner and friendly, outgoing personality 
  • Very high standard of personal grooming and contemporary presentation 

 

Ideally, you are a hard working, self motivated individual with a high level of attention to detail, the ability to problem solve, a mature perspective and the ability to maintain positive working relationships with a variety of personalities and age groups. Excellent communication skills, professional phone manner, sound written English, high standard of personal grooming and presentation as well as a positive attitude and cheerful personality will enable you to prosper in this role. We expect you to be a determined, self-motivated professional with the ability to problem solve along with a sensible, positive outlook. OWN RELIABLE CAR AND VALID WA DRIVERS LICENCE ARE ESSENTIAL as this role includes collecting mail from the local post office every morning and running errands from time to time.
