The Role:

Toll Group are seeking experienced Freight Handler for a permanent opportunity within our Intermodal and Specialised Services, Mt Isa depot. Your responsibility will be to load and unload our customers goods in such a way as to provide safe, efficient and damage-free service which will delight every customer.

You will be responsible for:

  • Accurately sort and load freight into designated dock areas and onto delivery vehicles
  • Work efficiently and effectively as a member of a team and autonomously
  • Ensure that any documentation handled is completely and accurately completed
  • Preparation of vehicles and trailers so that freight can be unloaded and loaded efficiently
  • Actively promote safe practices
  • Ability to perform duties in high pressure situations whilst remaining calm

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Reach Stacker operators required for immediate start
  • High Risk Work Licence - LF Forklift and Reach stacker RS or Crane CO, C1, C2, CS Essential
  • Container lift or Heavy Forklift (16T+) experience preferred
  • 4 on 4 off roster rotating days and nights
  • Must be Cardax ready or able to pass mines medical in order to obtain
  • Mine experience preferred but not essential
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills essential
  • Drivers licence essential
  • Ability to work as part of a small team essential
