  • Using a minimum of 90% fresh ingredients, Birch & Waite has an established reputation with leading Australian chefs for superior quality fresh food products.
  • A fast growing and agile company, Birch & Waite is achieving significant growth through delivering high quality and innovative products.

What will you be required to deliver?

  • Lead major projects, software implementations and upgrades, including ERP system upgrades
  • Develop long-range and short-range plans and schedules for the acquisition and installation of equipment, including transition from old to new procedures
  • Manage the installation of hardware, applications and systems in an on-line and batch environment
  • Manage the infrastructure and protection of company data, including back up and disaster recovery plans to ensure the business continuity
  • Implement corporate information strategies from statements of direction and follow them through to end-user operations and training
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of two as well as be the escalation point for all support issues
  • Collaborate with other Departments in the selection and set up of applications appropriate to their activities
  • Keep informed of new developments in available equipment and software, making recommendations to management regarding desirable additions or replacements
  • Future potential move to a cloud based or hybrid structure, plus introduce SCADA

What will determine success in this role?
