Finance Manager

Exciting opportunity available for an experienced hands-on and highly motivated Finance Manager to join a global industry leader based in the Norwest area.

In this exciting and rewarding role, your primary responsibilities will be, however, not be limited to: 

  • Conduct financial analysis and prepare detailed financial reports
  • Full function controllership and responsibility of all Australia wide branches
  • Ensure the business is int total compliance with Australian statutory law & regulations
  • Management of BAS statements & company tax
  • Debt collection & management 
  • Calculations related to insurance
  • Ownership of ANZ specific requirements, related to audits, transfer pricing requirements and administration of tax preparation, filling and compliance with local tax legislation.
  • Provide support for tax planning and tax risk assessments
  • Compliance to US rules and regulations
  • Ensure processes are compliant with US GAAP accounting and ensuring delivery of financial results to a precise monthly deadline
  • Interfacing with internal, external and statutory auditors
  • Provide leadership and support to the Finance and Accounting team
  • Hands on daily management of the accounting function with close management of all transactional accounting and the short monthly reporting cycle
  • Payroll processing and administration of benefits
  • Work closely with management and commercial team to share reports and analysis findings

To be considered for this opportunity, the following experience is essential: 

  • Proven track record working with capital management, treasury, foreign exchange & US GAAP
  • Qualified Accountant or equivalent with minimum ten years' experience
  • Experience working for a large multi-national company
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven problem solving and analytical sills
  • Strong commercial business experience with the ability to be a partner to the business
  • Experience working with ERP systems
