Loan Kit Technician

As an integral part of the Loan Kit Team, this is a rare opportunity for the right candidate who is passionate about internal and external service. Suitable candidates will be driven to continue developing their professional capabilities whilst at LifeHealthcare.

We’re looking for someone who;

  • Has experience packing complex Spine and Orthopaedic loan sets
  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of inventory systems
  • Has a sound knowledge and understanding of kit and consignment processes
  • Possesses a high attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and organisation
  • Has a can-do attitude and can work autonomously
  • Demonstrates superior time management skills and the ability to multi-task

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and cleaning of instrument sets
  • Ensuring instrument kits are ready for use with proper functionality
  • Packing and dispatching loan set kits and implants
  • Receiving and unpacking returned loan set kits from customers and hospitals
  • Liaising with internal and external customers to ensure loan sets meet the surgeons and sales representatives’ requirements
  • Resupplying and picking implant inventory for hospital consignment locations
  • Using a scanner based inventory system to transact all physical inventory movements

The successful candidate must have at least 2 years’ experience working within a Loan Kit Team in the medical devices industry or similar within a hospital. Additionally, the successful candidate must hold a full driver’s license.
