  • Full-time fixed term| over 6 months duration
  • Great role for a team player with solid Accounts payable experience

Our client are a successful not for profit organisation who are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their friendly finance team on a fixed term basis.

About the role:

This role is a full functions accounts payable position. Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Coding of creditor invoices, payment requests
  • Following up approvals on invoices and payments
  • Setting up new vendors and internal compliance
  • Data entry of invoices, Credit Notes & Requisitions
  • Opening, sorting, receipting of mail
  • Reconciling Creditor Statements
  • Maintaining Registers
  • Ad Hoc Duties
  • Meet month end deadlines

About you:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role.

Knowledge and Interpersonal Skills:

  • Solid time management and problem solving abilities
  • JD Edwards experience is preferred but not essential. However, experience with large ERP systems is a must
  • Proficiency with MS Excel
  • The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail
