Knowledge of retail trends and the competitive landscape is preferred, as are existing relationships with top tier retail and business reporters.

What’s involved:

• Implement the corporate public relations strategy to bring to life Officeworks’ five strategies, leading proactive media relations, speaking engagements and awards submissions opportunities for the business.

• Manage the in-house media press office, proactively seeking out stories to tell, responding to reactive media enquiries and coordinating media materials and spokespeople briefings to ensure quality outcomes.

• Identify risks and opportunities and manage issues that may arise effectively and in close collaboration with the Customer Service Centre as per the agreed process and framework to ensure the timely flow of information and ongoing and proactive stakeholder engagement.

• Project manage the implementation of Officeworks' new corporate website, including the copywriting, asset collation and budget management, working in collaboration with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
