Credit Analyst

 

A large international bank with a growing presence within Australia is currently looking to grow their Wholesale Credit team within Sydney. Ideally the right candidate will have extensive experience across multiple industries working on deals from a few million up to $100M, Mandarin verbal & written skills are also essential to the role.

Responsibilities:

  • Credit risk assessments of various transactions
  • Industry coverage across diversified sectors
  • Due diligence reports
  • Preparation and presentation of reports, rating recommendations, risk alert assessments and on-going monitoring of credit performance
  • Liaise with business functions to facilitate credit application and approval process
  • Provide guidance to ensure appropriate action is taken to mitigate any potential risks associated with customers, industry sectors and transaction structures



Overall requirements:

  • Related bachelors degree, (Masters a plus)
  • 8+ years related experience within Credit / related environment
  • Experience in corporate Banking / Wholesale Institutional
  • Independent and strong decision making skills and able to identify risks with reasonable solutions
  • Excellent skills in both Mandarin (especially report writing skills) & English
  • Ability to write DD reports
  • Other credit related tasks as assigned from the bank's management from time to time
  • Only Australian Citizens or PR considered for this role
