A Bit About Us

ArcBlue is a specialist consultancy with the mission to support our clients to deliver positive change through procurement. That means supporting them to achieve more - more efficiency, more insight, more social outcomes, more value, more clarity, more influence, more flexible, more assurance, more savings, more visibility… and more!

We offer a broad range of consulting, contracting, training & analytics services to our clients that cover the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, and have clients in the private sector as well as in local, state and federal government.

We’re a medium-sized organisation, operating across the Asia Pacific region with offices in several locations in Australia, as well as New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore.

ArcBlue was started by passionate procurement people, motivated to support organisations in their journey towards best practice and positive outcomes.

As our marketing coordinator, you’ll get to learn about what’s happening in the leading edge of procurement. ArcBlue has grown rapidly since it opened it’s doors in 2013, and you’ll be joining us at an exciting time of new developments across ASAP, with a refined product suite and some awesome partnerships. Be a part of this period of growth & help shape our future & brand perception.

The Role

Our Marketing Manager is heading on maternity leave, so we’re looking for a dynamic, creative, & fun-loving individual to keep things running smoothly over the next 13 months. You’ll be based at our Melbourne head office, working within the Corporate Services team.

In this standalone marketing role you’ll have the autonomy to manage your day to day activities while being supported by our Graphic Designer and product specialists. This engaging role will give you plenty of face time with our Directors & Executive Team, plus our teams across Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong & Singapore.

Your aim is to maintain a high level of marketing service delivery to external and internal customers. This position is designed to continue and build upon the work of our recent brand refresh project, and contribute to ArcBlue 2020 business growth goals.

The role aims to increase organic traffic through our social media channels to our websites, generating leads and educating potential clients on our service offering & unique proposition to the market. The role will ensure brand awareness & steady organic growth on our social media channels. You will utilise and build upon the existing suite of collateral, communications messaging, content & processes to enrich marketing support for internal customers.

This varied role will see you working across:

  • ArcBlue company websites
  • Social Media channels
  • Google Ads
  • Content including articles, blogs & videos
  • Events & conferences
  • ArcBlue marketing collateral
  • Our CRM & direct mail
  • Product & team-based marketing campaigns
  • Partnerships
  • Brand monitoring

Stakeholder Management is key to this role, as you will be the point of contact for marketing across the organisation.

About You

We’re looking for someone who will love the variety, fast pace & autonomy that comes with working in a standalone role in a diverse & geographically spread organisation. Ideally, you’ll be an experienced marketing coordinator with the ability to keep projects on track, while having a creative flair, an eye for design and good visual presentation skills.

We’re looking for someone whose level of attention to detail teeters on the edge of ‘nit picking’ and who has an eye for brand style & tone who can easily pick up what is, and what isn’t ‘ArcBlue’.

As this is a contract role, we’ll need a quick learner who can get up to speed on our processes, systems & products in a short space of time.

Previously you’ve worked in a small organisation or small team, so you feel comfortable wearing a few hats and working through end-to-end processes. You’re a ‘do-er’, not a procrastinator, and get a buzz out of completing tasks & seeing results.

You’re known for your writing skills and are a confident and clear written & verbal communicator who feels comfortable pushing back and voicing your opinion for things that really matter.

You’ll feel a part of the ArcBlue crew quickly, forming relationships with key stakeholders with ease, promoting our workplace culture and living the ArcBlue values.

Your Experience

You’re an experienced marketing coordinator, who has had at least 3 years of experience in a marketing position. A qualification in Marketing or a similar discipline would be fantastic, however nothing beats real-life experience for us in this role.

Experience working in a standalone marketing role or as part of a small team will be highly regarded. We’d love to hear from marketing coordinators who have worked within consulting or agency environments previously, and while a deep understanding of Procurement is not necessary, some past exposure to procurement departments or working in large, complex organisations will help you get up to speed.

You’ll be used to a fast paced environment, with multiple stakeholders and managing expectations around priorities & deadlines. You’ll have worked with CRM’s before - experience in HubSpot would be a plus, and will have strong experience working on EDM campaigns. Social media will form a large part of your prior marketing experience, with a focus on LinkedIn. Being a pro in Google Ads will be a real plus for us!

Some prior experience with WordPress and the Adobe creative suite will be highly beneficial in this role.

The Perks

We strive to create a workplace that encourages growth, flexibility and creativity, as well as a company culture that champions inclusion, diversity and overall employee well-being. This role can be 3 or 4 days/week, and you can choose which days you want to work. We work hard but have a relaxed vibe to our office and a smart-casual dress code. There’s the ability for flexible work hours or working from home for some days of the week.

We love innovative thinkers at ArcBlue, and if you have a great idea, we’ll generally let you run with it! You’ll have the ability to touch on all aspects of the business, in all product lines & locations.

As our tagline says, we deliver more – and our commitment to social & sustainable procurement sets us aside from the rest. As part of our team, you’ll be a small part of what it takes to create positive change through procurement through our projects locally in Victoria, and across the APAC region.

So when will you start!?

Ideally we’d like someone to start in mid-December, or the beginning of January to allow for a smooth handover!

The application form will include these questions:
  • Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
  • How many years' experience do you have in a marketing role?
  • What's your expected annual base salary?
  • How much notice are you required to give your current employer?
