About the position

We have an exciting opportunity for full time Merchandising Coordinators who will be working closely with our Buying team, Store Retail teams and Suppliers. In this role you will be responsible for communicating and coordinating merchandising initiatives to stores and working with brands to enable their vision in our stores. You will also be accountable for maintaining space repository for your own category and understanding fixture requirements for your categories. You will be reporting to a Merchandise Operations Lead.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate branded display roll-outs
  • Consider security, safety and practical implications for product roll outs
  • Planogram displays and contribute to department template design
  • Maintaining repository of space allocation per department
  • Develop, proof, test and disseminate communication materials to store network
  • Maintain a log of cost and processes associated with roll out of fittings and supplier funded displays
  • Coordinate maintenance requests associated with supplier displays with suppliers
  • Act as point of escalation for issues related to fittings roll-outs and other merchandise related store requests

About our ideal candidate

We are looking for an individual who possesses a combination of the below qualifications, skills and experience:

  • A passion for merchandising/electronics/retail
  • Business/marketing/commerce degree (or related)
  • Attention to detail
  • You must be able to thrive in a fast pace, high pressure environment
  • Experience consulting, consumer electronic supplier-side or retail
  • Experience in planogramming (SpaceMan, JDA or similar tools)
  • Understanding of visual merchandising/category development
  • Proficient experience across Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word (desirable)
  • Strong ability to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders at once
  • Excellent project management skills
