We are hiring for the position:

 

Process Engineer Water and Waste Water Treatment – Melbourne/Victoria or Caboolture/Queensland

 

Role & responsibilities

  • As part of our process design team, to develop the process design and pricing for our company's bids
  • Working with our sales team to provide the optimum solution to our clients
  • To prepare process design, calculations, costing, PFDs, P&IDs, etc
  • To support the execution of contracted projects
  • Covering a wide range of market sectors with a particular focus on industrial applications

 

Requirements/background

  • Engineering qualification (process engineer specialising in water and waste water treatment)
  • Long-term experience in engineering and pricing “mid-range” water and waste water treatment plants for the resources, food & beverage, oil & gas and/or petrochemical industries, and/or the municipal sector
  • Track record of winning bids in the above
  • Experience in some or all of the following: WTPs, STPs, filtration systems, DAF, chlorination, chemical dosing
  • Detailed knowledge of Australian & international codes and standards, good engineering practice and experienced at interpreting the applicable statutory requirements
  • Proficient in writing proposals and liaising with suppliers
  • Team player attitude with good communication skills
  • Passionate about the opportunity and achieving excellence in the water industry
