About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Second Chef to join the food services operation and kitchen team at our client's aged care facility in Northcote, VIC. 

Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Hours: 7:00am - 5:30pm

 

​​​​​​Key attributes and responsibilities:

  • 4+ years' experience in a similar role - aged care experience a huge benefit.
  • Commercial cookery background or Hospitality Industry Qualification.
  • High level of QA, WH&S, HACCP and Food Safety knowledge.
  • Previous experience in the design and implementation of nutritionally adequate and appropriate menus specific to Aged Care       
  • Empathy towards residents, staff and clients.
  • Produce high quality, nutritious and well presented meals in line with aged care food service guidelines.
  • Excellent client liaison skills.
  • Must have own transport
