ABOUT THE ROLE

Currently undertaking a progressive growth and development phase, we have an exciting opportunity for a Manager IT Transformation to join our Information Technology team.

Based in our Wangara Head Office, this newly created position will see you working closely with our Chief Information Officer and leading a team of industry specialists across IT Operations, Web Development and Design. This diverse role will see you managing a broad range of key projects, programs and resources within the IT Transformation space.

Duties will include:

  • Effectively managing the successful delivery of all elements of project from design, build, test, deployment and ongoing maintenance
  • Creating program and project charters and defining objectives, priorities and success criteria
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders on requirements and outcomes
  • Obtaining signoffs and securing resources and funding for projects
  • Developing and overseeing the mapping of all key IT processes and functions
  • Ensuring delivered systems remain compliant with business requirements of performance, security and function fit and that risk and impact of changes introduced to the business is minimised
  • Identifying issues and recommendations escalating appropriately through to resolution
  • Developing and leading a team to achieve successful outcomes within the business as well as partnering with external contractors as required
  • Reporting on development requirements, performance and status

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

To be considered you will ideally demonstrate:  

  • Degree qualified in Computer Science or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in project / program management and ability to apply it in the real-world environment
  • People Management Skills, ability to influence in a matrix environment without direct authority
  • Experience in working in and managing cross-functional teams to achieve desired outcomes
  • Understanding of financial and management reporting, ability to define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for other departments
  • Experience in analysing data (intermediate/advanced excel)
  • Experience in data presentation – preparing power points and decks for senior management
  • A background in ICT Infrastructure, applications and ICT Security is essential
  • Strong knowledge and experience of Azure cloud micro service technology
  • Advanced organisational and analytical skills
  • Experience driving “current state” to “future state” transformation initiatives
  • Results focused with a proven ability to meet targets and objectives
  • Strong communication skills including ability to covey technical information concisely to non-technical staff

Whilst not essential, an understanding of fleet management or related industries will be highly regarded.
