State Manager - NSW

This well known, family owned organisation are currently seeking a State Manager for NSW, to lead and manage the business towards budgeted revenue targets and overall profitability of the state.  This position, based in South West Sydney, will see you report directly to the CEO.  You will be responsible to provide strategic leadership and direction to the business's overall sales program, whilst maintaining accountability for the operations of the manufacturing and customer service divisions.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • 9 direct reports, 90 indirect
    • State Operations Manager
    • Commercial and Retail Account Executives
  • Leadership and people management
  • Effectively building relationships internally and externally
  • Cultivate new business opportunities
  • Manage the sales and operational team 
  • Manage the accounts sales team
  • Profit and Loss for the state - circa $55 million

To be considered for this position, you will have:
  • Currents sales (retail and commercial) and operations experience in a manufacturing, wholesale/distributor or retail market
  • Experience in a multi-channel strategic sales management
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of Profit and Loss reporting and accountability
  • Experience developing and nurturing business relationships
  • Experience initialing business relationships and generating sales leads
  • Ability to lead by example
