The Desktop Support Analyst delivers prompt resolution to customers through the provision of first and second level technical support for incoming service requests and incidents related to computer systems, software, and hardware. Typical requests involve supporting various workspace technologies including, macOS and Windows desktop, iOS and Android, video conferencing, user moves/adds/changes.

An Australian Technology company providing IT Managed Services Support for a global Australian financial technology company. Working onsite, this is a client facing support position.

Description

  • To provide face-to-face and remote support for a variety of ICT systems including PCs, Macs, mobile phones, tablet computers, applications and related technologies
  • Provide a complete and comprehensive service, including resolve issues, providing advice
  • To be ready and willing to answer and find solutions to questions asked from users
  • Effectively engage, support and enable staff in the IT related functions when they seek or require specialist support
  • To assist in the maintenance and testing of ICT infrastructure equipment

Profile

  • 3 years on a helpdesk
  • Experience supporting Windows, Mac OS and iOS platforms
  • Mac/PC Hardware and peripheral knowledge and skills
  • Expereience across JAMF, OKTA, Crowdstrike, Jira, Confluence, Zoom, Azure & AzureAD
  • Knowledge of current Microsoft technologies including O365
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer and service focused manner
  • Basic Networking and Troubleshooting
  • Work independently, unsupervised and regularly update manager on tasks at hand and results
  • Team player - ready to contribute whatever it takes, and willing to share your ideas and knowledge with the team
