Accounts Administrator - Thomastown

  • Full Time Hours
  • Northern Suburbs
  • $30 per hour + superannuation

About the Role:

Working as an experienced Accounts Administrator you will work for one of Australia's most innovative timber flooring specialists in Thomastown. You will work in a fun and supportive team environment whilst using your strong accounts, administration and customer service skills to support the accounts function and daily running of the office. With flexible shift times available you will be required to work between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm with an immediate start.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Match purchase orders with sales orders to process invoices
  • Process draft sales invoices and allocate job tracking in accounting system
  • Entering invoices and cheque information into Xero 
  • Support management and wider team with general administration duties
  • Answering telephone calls, managing client inquiries and expectations
  • Raise credit notes and process invoices

Skills and experience required:

  • Minimum 1 - 2 years experience in using Xero accounting software
  • Solid administration and organisational skills
  • PC literate - intermediate to advanced MS Office Suite
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy and methodical approach
  • Qualifications in accounts and/or bookkeeping would also be highly regarded
