About the Role

Due to continued success, we are currently looking for a Site Supervisor based on a 2:1 roster to join a highly-motivated team that has a ‘can do’ attitude with a strong commitment to safety and problem-solving skills and objectives.

Duties will include;

  • Supervision of trades & non-trades in the project & shutdown environment across sites throughout the Pilbara
  • Planning and scheduling crew’s workloads to meet project requirements and timeframes
  • Ensure all project activities are undertaken in a safe & timely manner in accordance with the project scope of work
  • Support the HSE program within your work area, ensuring sufficient resources are available & team are always compliant.
  • Lead HSE by example by conducting pre-start and toolbox meetings; field leadership interactions and workplace inspections.
  • Executing project deliverables involving apron feeders, car dumpers, reclaimers, stackers, train load out (TLO).
  • Provide day to day leadership and direction to the project team, allocating duties to team member to ensure the projects targets are met and client expectations are exceeded.

Successful applicants will have the following experience;

  • Hold a Section 44 appointed person, Frontline Management or relevant qualification
  • Proven experience in apron Feeders, car dumpers, reclaimers, stackers, train load out (TLO) project execution. 
  • Proven experience in chutes, bins, hoppers refurbishment and/or replacements.
  • Proven experience with structural, mechanical and piping installation works.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of fixed plant iron ore processing facilities and operations.
  • Success in managing project teams work scopes, including delegation and people management
  •  A proven track record of safety management & a strong awareness of and commitment to a safe working culture
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to develop & maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a similar role within the mining industry
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A screening
