BIG4 Stuart Range Outback Resort require the services of an experienced receptionist to start work during our off season in Coober Pedy. This is an on the job training position that requires attention to detail, a positive can do attitude, sound judgement, professionalism, and good customer service.

-Checking in guests, replying to emails, answering phones, giving local knowledge and working in our opal shop and light cleaning duties, liaising with housekeeping staff. When the pizzeria is open (opens in March again) taking orders and delivering meals etc.  Predominately afternoon and evening work, not after 10pm unless required in peak season.

Our business has 24 modern 4 star apartments and 140 plus caravan and camping sites. The apartments will get busy with Christmas traffic and we require someone to jump in and learn quickly. Having a bubbly personality is an advantage. Our peak season starts in April and this is an ideal opportunity to learn and prepare for this while it is quieter. The applicant must be reliable and can work unsupervised as required with a weekly variable roster.

Coober Pedy is a unique Opal mining town and home to the magnificent Breakaways reserve, this would be a great experience for someone wanting to see the outback, work and save some money. We are building an underground home which will be shown on Grand Designs Australia and we require tradespeople in particular concreter's, electricians, plumbers, carpenter's and laborer's.

Accommodation can be provided if required in a small tidy onsite caravan but if you have your own, even better.

Unpaid leave may be taken prior to peak season if required, we are flexible but need to work in with other staff.

Must have experience in customer service and be a quick learner. We use Newbook property management system, you will be trained on this, however a sound knowledge of computer skills is essential.  A high level of personal grooming and a willingness to work together to build the business is essential. Customers need a warm welcome after a long days drive, so an outgoing personality is best. Business confidentiality, honesty and integrity go without saying and the applicant must have a Police clearance certificate. 

RSA certificate preferred.

Tradesperson must be qualified and can work unsupervised if required.
