Administration Officer

Exciting Administrative roles available across local councils in Victoria

I am currently working with multiple local councils across Victoria’s West and North Western suburbs who are looking for experienced administration officers for a number of temp vacancies over the Christmas period.

Your typical duties will include:

  • Front of house reception duties
  • Providing administrative support to the departments within the council
  • Customer service, both over the phone and face to face
  • Maintaining records, filing and document management as well as data entry
  • Calendar/diary management
  • Assisting with reporting as required

To be successful, you will possess:

  • High level of customer service skills (both phone based and face to face), including problem solving
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated calendar/diary management experience
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office computer products (Word, Excel)
  • Previous experience using TRIM and local government systems e.g. Pathways, My Aged Care, etc. will be highly regarded
