The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available in the Supply and Logistics function at CSL Behring.  We are seeking a Warehouse/Logistics Manager to join our dynamic team at our Broadmeadows site.  The role is responsible for managing the raw material warehousing operations and delivering exceptional levels of services to all customers. You will also manage the day-to-day coordination and administration of warehousing, sampling and compliance processes for raw materials at Broadmeadows.

This is a permanent full time position that will suit an individual that has a proven track record of managing staff and knowledge of warehouse/logistics operations.

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Manager Logistics, your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the operational requirements to meet the business and regulatory demand
  • Monitor operational expenses ensuring, where practicable, costs are within budget/forecasts
  • Achievement of financial goals through the management of cost effective and timely delivery of process improvements and projects
  • Support, coach, motivate and develop staff to ensure service is delivered to all customers effectively and efficiently.  Where practicable, develop resourcing contingencies
  • Ensure effective and compliant materials management processes and storage between facilities meet the requirements of GxP including Dangerous/Hazard Goods storage and movements
  • Accurate and effective materials control within warehousing facilities, (onsite/3PL’s)

To be successful

  • Tertiary qualifications Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred
  • Experience or knowledge in managing third party providers
  • Experience of Health, Safety and Environment regulations and requirements in a warehousing environment
  • Preferred experience working in cGMP
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, ERP systems (SAP)
  • Strong planning and organisation skills
  • Strong experience leading medium teams
