Customer Service Officer

Your role:

Reporting in to the manager of the client services team, you will be providing first point resolutions to the community, seeking advice of information regarding a variety of council services, such as, parking fines, permits, child care and refuge collections.

Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Providing timely and accurate information on the local council services, community facilities and external service providers to the councils customers
  • Record customer action requests
  • To assist the Customer Service Co-Ordinator's to establish and maintain appropriate administration systems and documentation

About you:

  • Have demonstrated experience in a customer service environment
  • Ability to work in a team
  • A high level of organisational skills
  • Preferably have experience within local government
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft software applications
