Our Client 
an up-start group that is experiencing rapid growth are looking to hire a hands-on, vibrant, transformational CFO (an exciting time to join!). The group is making some serious waves in their arena and finance lead to enable their growth. The Group business with several successful and expanding entities has a great vision of becoming a renowned services provider in their space.  
 
  • Pioneering a multitude of new service offerings this industry has never seen before.
  • Out-of-the-box way of thinking has been quickly recognised by a plethora of awards acknowledging them for their service excellence, multi-cultural practices and sustainability programs.

About the Role   
This role is newly created and a pivotal opportunity within the business. The successful individual will be a key driver of the financial function, managing a small yet effective team, further facilitating aggressive expansion plans, on a national scale. You will need to be an established finance lead and take ownership for transforming the current finance function.


Responsibilities Include (but are not limited too):
 
  • Manage and oversee the month-end reporting process, including assisting with the preparation of consolidated financial reports;
  • Manage the processes for financial forecasting, budgets, and capital requests;
  • Develop financial strategies and performance measures that support the group's growth and strategic direction; Franchise partnership model business
  • Manage and co-ordinate the tax compliance and reporting including IAS and BAS preparation and lodgement;
  • Annual statutory and regulatory reporting including liaising with the ATO as required;
  • Comprehensive cash flow management;
  • Partnering with the business and providing detailed insights;
  • Driving change and modernisation of systems & practices; and
  • Regular liaison with taxation advisors, bankers and other 3rd party stakeholders.

About You
  
 
  • You will be an experienced Head of Finance, ideally with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Originated from Chartered Accounting (Big4 or Mid-tier background)
  • With/or current progression in the commercial world and have solid experience successfully operating and providing consistent value to rapidly growing organisations
  • Not afraid to be hands-on, this role requires a dynamic leader with a proven capacity to provide tailored solutions in a consultative manner. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication, will fast track your career move.
  • Franchise partnership model exposure would be highly regarded
  • You will be capable of handling all responsibilities covered above in a timely and autonomous fashion.
