Project Management Office Analyst

Luerssen Australia is a subsidiary of Lurssen, a fifth generation family-owned German company that builds Naval defence vessels and luxury yachts from its nine shipyards across Northern Germany.

 

Luerssen Australia has been engaged by the Australian Department of Defence as the prime contractor to build 12 Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPVs) for the Royal Australian Navy over a 12 year project life.  Luerssen Australia has plans for long term growth in the Asia Pacific region through the establishment of the Australian Maritime Shipbuilding and Export Group (AMSEG) with Civmec to pursue export opportunities in the region and other Australian naval projects.

 

We are seeking Project Management Office Analyst to join our team in Adelaide with an opportunity to relocate to Perth in two to three years.  The incumbent will be responsible for day to day PMO functions such as processing of incoming and outgoing information/data, data analysis and preparation of project reports, management of action and decision trackers and other ad-hoc tasks as required.

 

To be successful in this challenging role, you will need the following:

  • Formal qualifications in project management studies or with a comparable technical or engineering  background
  • At least 5 years of professional experience, preferably within defence or Engineering sectors
  • Experience working in an international project environment - desirable
  • Ability to effectively analyse and report on data - essential
  • Experience in the Defence sector – highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - essential
  • Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite of products - essential
  • Ability to manage competing demands and prioritise tasks
  • Willingness to travel interstate ADE/PER/ADE
  • Australian citizenship
