Strata Manager

A summary of your new company:

A.C.T. Strata Management Services have been operating in the A.C.T. for more than 30 years, delivering exceptional Strata Management and body corporate services to resident owners and investors.

Your new role:

Based in Lyons, you will be joining a tightly knit team of professionals who are responsible for managing residential and commercial complexes. Our Body Corporate Managers work closely with the Executive Committees to service the daily needs of their properties.

Whilst support and ongoing training will be provided, ideally we are seeking a established professional with strong core management capabilities including financial management, customer relationship management, risk management and a commitment to quality service delivery.

Your main duties will include:

  • Organizing and chairing General Meetings with Groups of Owners;
  • Budgeting and financial management to ensure liquidity of the Strata Corporation’s funds;
  • Implementing and executing building maintenance strategies;
  • Establishing positive relationships with clients, contractors, and other key stakeholders;
  • Resolving client and contractor disputes.
  • Working collaboratively with clients to identify and manage risks;
  • Ensuring legislative requirements and  policies are adhered to;
  • Managing the smooth flow of administration within your portfolio.

Ideally you will possess the following attributes

  • Results orientated with a proven track record of success;
  • Ability to engage with and influence a wide variety of people;
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills;
  • Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills;
  • Ability interpret legislation;
  • Solid skills in Microsoft Office;
  • Minimum 2-3 years industry experience (desirable);
  • Knowledge of Strata Legislation (desirable).
