Graduate Architect

We are currently seeking applications from recent Graduates of Architecture who have at minimum 2-3 years post graduate experience and want to join our Melbourne office!

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with the provision of architectural requirements of the Client, Project, Manager, Other Consultants, Authorities, Contractors or other persons providing services.
  • Developing original design work utilising specifications, sketches and ideas on developing designs using appropriate software programs.
  • Assisting in compiling data for architectural plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, etc.
  • Preparing architectural documentation for all phases of the project including rendering and printing.
  • Assisting with all procedures in accordance with the architectural brief, scope of services and additional services as may be required.
  • Attending site visits as required.
  • Developing strong relationships with key suppliers
  • Providing general support to Architects and management staff as required.

We are seeking applicants who demonstrate:

  • Minimum 2-3years post graduate experience within the architectural industry
  • Completion of Bachelor of Architecture (or similar) degree
  • Proficient design and advanced documentation skills using Revit
  • Project experience with local planning approval process – Town Planning; and Building Permit
  • Project experience demonstrating exposure to VCAT process
  • Co-ordinate Consultants, builders, suppliers and authorities on a project

Other desirable skills:

  • Exposure to the design process, concept design and project delivery
  • Organisational skills
  • Strong ability to work as part of a collaborative team, and be self-reliant
  • Knowledge of Rhino, 3DStudioMax, Maya is desirable
  • Model making skills are desirable
