Credit Lending Analysts - TEMP and PERM

Due to growth we have multiple vacancies based in our Operations Centre at Caribbean Park, Scoresby, Melbourne. Here you’ll enjoy a campus-style hybrid/agile working environment surrounded by natural green spaces with a gym, café, and plenty of free parking on campus. We are open 7 days a week from 6am to 11pm.
  
We are looking for experienced Credit Lending Analysts with awesome people skills for full time or part time temporary and permanent opportunities. In this role you’ll be the first person our dealer network call when our guests apply for vehicle finance.
  
Duties will include:
  • Investigating, assessing and decisioning Consumer and Commercial credit applications for customers seeking vehicle finance
  • Exercise a Delegated Lending Authority to maximise lending outcomes in line with regulatory guidelines & TFS risk appetite.
  • To build, manage and strengthen relationships with our dealer network.
  • To understand and adhere to TFS zero tolerance approach to fraud risk and compliance risk – limit fraud, credit and operational losses
  • To ensure our dealer network is kept appraised of the status of their applications during the credit lending process
    
To be successful in the role you will have:
  • Sound credit lending experience
  • Proven experience in credit risk assessment (holding a lending authority is preferred but not essential)
  • High attention to detail and the ability to prioritise completing deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to communicate in a clear and unambiguous manner
  • Outcome orientated with a customer centric mindset
  • Understanding of RG209 and the importance of responsible lending obligations desired
  • Understanding and interpretation of financial statements
  • Tertiary qualifications preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of both consumer and commercial credit fundamentals
  
Rosters and Training:
  • Training will commence on 2nd DEC 2019 or 6th JAN 2020 for 4 weeks, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, full attendance is required.
  • For part time workers we will have an alternative training schedule.
  • You must have the ability to work flexibly, as we run operate on a roster, which means your full-time hours can be scheduled between:
    • 6am – 11pm Monday – Friday, & 7am – 6pm Weekends
  • If you are seeking part-time hours, we are open to candidates who might have other commitments:
    • Have school drop off / pick up? We can consider 10am – 3pm shifts 3-5 days a week.
    • Have study commitments during the day? We can consider ongoing night shifts.
    • Have weekday obligations? We can consider weekend-only work.
