Marine Crew Required in South Australia

T-Ports is proud to have announced the construction and operations of the new Lucky Bay port facility, near Cowell on the Eyre Peninsula, and a storage facility at Lock in readiness for harvest this year. With more than 500,000 tonnes of grain storage and other diverse business opportunities, this exciting project represents a state-of-the-art development for the region.

The MV Lucky Eyre is an 87-meter self-propelled and self-discharging vessel which can hold 3300-3500t of grain and will load on the berth using a fixed set of elevators and conveyor belts feeding into a central hatch on the self-trimming vessel.

The MV April requires those with tickets to operate >35 mtrs and >500t.  Immediate starts available.

Marine Crew required for various projects in South Australia:

  • Dredge Operators
  • Coxswains, Integrated Ratings, Deck Hands
  • Master 2/ Master 3/ Master 4
  • Master, Chief Officers, 2nd Officers 
  • MED 1 / MED 2 / MED3 (Marine Engine Driver)

Minimum Qualifications:

·       Valid AMSA Certificate of Medical Fitness.

·       First Aid HLTAID003

·       MSIC or the ability to obtain an MSIC

·       Must have Work Rights in Australia

·       Current Passport

To be eligible for a role, applicants will be willing to reside on the vessels in Lucky Bay, South Australia whilst the vessels are in operation. (home port)
