Allied Health Assistant

Allied Health Assistant positions available (Grade 3).

  1. Permanent Part Time position available (2 days)
  2. Fixed-Term hours until December 2020.

Capacity to Job Share.

We have opportunities for Allied Health Assistants to join our multidisciplinary team.  You will be involved in providing support and assistance in the development, implementation and evaluation of a suite of activities including 1:1 support, group, out-reach as well as home based programs. 

About you

Our successful candidates will bring with them experience or the passion to develop their skills in:

  • Working in allied health and/or the community health sector
  • Working with a variety of client groups that may include culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, aged persons and/or people with a disability
  • Excellent communication skills including an ability to work within an inter-professional framework and collegiate manner. A relevant community language is highly desirable
  • Conducting group programs

Applicants must have:

•          Certificate IV in “Allied Health Assistant”

•          Meet the “Mandatory Key Selection Criteria” in the Position Description.
