About the OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking to appoint a Warehouse Operator preferably with a retail background, have a strong attention to detail and take pride in their work, you will be working in a unique facility on an exciting new project, you will report to Warehouse Supervisor/Operations manager, key responsibilities include,

  • Complete tasks effectively with a sense of urgency, but value quality over speed.
  • Ensure that stock is put away accurately and in accordance with the SWL signs
  • Ensure that no damaged products are put away and are reported to management
  • Picking and Packing of customer orders in line  with our service level expectations
  • Picking and Transferring of stock using the RF  Scanning devices
  • Make clear communication to team and supervisor.
  • Handle product carefully and alert supervisor of any damages.
  • Keeping work area clean and tidy
  • Sweeping warehouse
  • Ensure all interaction and communication with customers or clients is professional
  • Alert Supervisor / Ops manager of any issues or discrepancies 

About You

  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
  • Presentable in appearance and uniform.
  • Not afraid to ask questions
  • Experience using with RF Scanners in a paperless warehouse - ideal but not necessary. 
  • Experience working with retail products is an advantage
  • Pride in their work
  • Ability to meet deadlines and KPI’s
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Basic computer skills.
  • use of Manhattan highly advantageous 
  • Hold a valid driving license
