Elermore Glen is a well-regarded retirement village located in Elermore Vale.  We currently have 208 villas but we are a growing community.  Our great team environment attracts long term employees and we are looking for an additional team player to assist us in the office on a permanent part-time basis.  

Due to the upcoming retirement of our Office Assistant who has been with us for over 10 years, we are now looking for a suitable replacement.

We are offering a great work/life balance with this position working 3 days per week (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am to 4pm).  These specific days of the week are required as you will be sharing some responsibilities with another team member working the other days.

Duties include office reception, answering phones, maintaining residents’ electronic and hard copy records, product ordering, raising invoices, printing and distributing general correspondence and newsletters to residents’ mailboxes, banking and assisting with day-to-day operations.  You will also be responsible for coordinating our annual villa maintenance programs.  This job involves lots of variety with no two days exactly the same.

To be successful in this role, you must be friendly, patient and welcoming to our visitors and residents, have a ‘can do’ positive attitude and have a good rapport and genuine regard for our older generation.  You should have at least 5 years current general office administration experience with a working knowledge of all Microsoft applications (specifically Word, Excel and Outlook).  The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, timekeeping and organisational skills.  You must also hold a current driver’s license.  A National Police Check and First Aid Certificate would be beneficial or willingness to undertake.
