About the Role:

  • Manage the upkeep of corporate governance standards to ensure compliance to statutory requirements

  • Manage treasury, credit controls and cash management

  • Review of reconciliations for all general ledger and bank accounts

  • Review and post all journal entries affecting the general ledger

  • Liaise with tax authority on all tax declaration affairs

  • Evaluate the quality and appropriateness of proposed services, supplies and equipment

  • Mentor, train and lead a team

  • Ensure the finance team scales up and keeps aligned with the needs of a quickly growing business

About you

You must be someone who possesses excellent communication skills and is passionate about creating change through the work that you do. You must be a strategic thinker and comfortable to lead the finance team through a period of strong growth. As well as this, you must be someone who bases their work on transparency and forward-thinking, while valuing input from fellow team members.

Your abilities:

  • Graduate degree plus CA/CPA qualification

  • Experience in a high transaction and complex cashflow environment

  • Strong experience in internal controls, compliance and governance

  • Experience with a Big 4 or similar background desirable

  • Experience managing a large payroll

  • Effective leadership skills with drive, innovation and a strong sense of commitment and adaptive to change
