Administration Assistant

The Role

Reporting to the State Accounting Manager & Site Manager this role will have four core elements which are purchasing, asset management, payroll and general office management. We are looking for someone with a core skillset in the area of purchasing that is an all-rounder and gains satisfaction in adding value in any way they can. Your responsibilities will include -   

  • Processing new vendor requests in line with company policies
  • Review of vendors to advise on cost effective solutions
  • Raising and managing purchase orders
  • Processing credit card purchases, internal store orders and invoice queries
  • Manage fuel and toll accounts as well as registration processes
  • Support sites with payroll requests such as new staff, terminations and weekly timesheets
  • General office management tasks as required

What you will bring to succeed:

  • Previous experience within a purchasing role and managing vendors, PO’s etc
  • The ability to analyse and interpret large sets of data
  • Experience with a medium to large ERP system, SAP highly desirable
  • Intermediate excel skills
  • Strong business partnering skills and experience working with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills will be vital to your success in this role
