thrive pr + communications is Australasia’s largest independent PR agency with offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Auckland. We’ve been inundated with exciting new client opportunities and are looking for new consultants to join our Melbourne team. Available roles include Account Manager, Senior Account Manager, Account Director and Senior Account Director. They will join an honest, passionate and hardworking team of consultants who “thrive” in a unique office culture that encourages entrepreneurship, supports professional growth, and is dedicated to supporting the wellbeing of the team.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in PR campaigns that have the industry buzzing and that will allow you to grow your skill set into new areas of PR including content and social media. Current Thrive clients include ANZ Group, 7-Eleven, Nintendo, Spotlight Retail Group, Sugar Australia, Optus, Porter Davis Homes and the Good Friday Appeal, to name just a few.

As Thrive is one of Australia’s leading independent “corp-sumer” agencies, this role will also enjoy the benefits of collaborating with many other leading creative advertising, digital and media agencies and working with high profile celebrities and influencers on a range of campaigns. 

Key experience / requirements:

  • Must demonstrate media relations experience 

  • Delivery of best practice media relations with integrated PR Activity

  • Solid industry experience - consumer experience highly regarded

  • Be a great brand storyteller with exceptional writing skills

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Technology skills (MAC & Google Drive savvy)

  • Media measurement / evaluation skills

  • Process driven 

  • 4+ years agency experience in the PR industry

  • Tertiary qualifications
