The role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Psychologist (Provisional or Registered) to join our team working within Perth and surrounding areas. Key areas will include:

  • Delivering low intensity counselling services to clients referred through WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA)
  • Expert consultation and provision of psychological services to people with a disability and their service providers/families, in line with an individual’s NDIS plan and goals.
  • Conducting comprehensive psychological and related assessments and interventions under the NDIS.

Requirements:

  • Car and licence (required)
  • A current National Police Clearance and Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement (required)
  • Registration with relevant professional body (AHPRA) (required)
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum disorder and Intellectual Disability and other complex diagnoses (desirable)
  • Experience using a wide variety of Psychological/Behaviour assessments (desirable)
  • Skilled and experienced in writing high quality reports (desirable)
  • Counselling experience using CBT, DBT, person-centred and trauma-informed approaches (desirable)
  • Experience working in an environment with KPIs/targets (desirable)
