Employment Lawyer 4-7 years PAE

About the Firm

Our client is a high-end boutique law firm that specialises in employment law. Led by a team of ex-top-tier lawyers, it is emerging as a key player in this space. The firm is currently seeking an employment lawyer with 4-7 years PQE to join its Sydney office.

About the Role

In this role, you will advise a wide range of clients from blue-chip clients including a number of large corporations and households names right through to smaller clients. The role consists of approximately 80% advisory and 20% litigious work.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Approximately 4-7 years of post-qualification experience in employment law gained from a leading mid-top tier firm or high-end specialist boutique employment law firm;
  • Experience in all aspects of employment law, particularly in relation to the Fair Work Act;
  • Outstanding legal skills developed in a top or mid-tier environment or high-end boutique law firm;
  • A commercial approach to your work;
  • The ability to work autonomously as well as being a team player;
  • A strong academic transcript;
  • A great, positive attitude!

Benefits

This opportunity offers a real alternative to the large firm environment. There are genuine partnership opportunities on offer and you will be mentored by ex-top-tier lawyers who are leaders in this space. The firm has a demonstrated track record of supporting gender equality and flexible working arrangements are available.

You will work in a truly down to earth environment with professionals who love their work and are outstanding lawyers but who no longer wish to work in large firms as they prefer a more personalised client service approach and a boutique environment.

How to Apply

To apply in strict confidence, please send your CV and academic transcript to jgrasso@legalpersonnel.com.au (reference no: 9623) or call Julie Grasso on 0410 493 710.
