About Us?

The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH) leads the development, planning and deliver of comprehensive primary health care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in South East Queensland.

We are seeking a highly motivated Practice Manager who is passionate managing the overall delivery and efficiencies of our Moreton ATSICHS clinic. Within this role, you will be for responsible business planning, financial management, leadership and oversight of health service quality in line with the IUIH Model of Care.

About the Role:

  • Ensuring the clinic delivers quality treatment and meets agreed Health Service Agreement commitments to clients
  • Managing clinic performance and leading strategies in line with key performance
  • Working collaboratively with Practice Managers and your team to ensure best practice
  • Ability to work sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
  • Working knowledge of and experience in the Medicare Benefits Schedule
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety along with the ability to implement safe work practices
  • Care coordination and case management to ensure effective recall practices and seamless client services provided by MATSICHS

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A qualification in Business, Management, Health, Nursing and/or Allied Health (preferred)
  • A current Blue Card
  • A current Criminal History Check
  • Current CPR Certificates
