Veterinary Receptionist

Vetcall Mudgeeraba is an established veterinary clinic that offers amazing veterinary care to the residents of the Gold Coast. We recognise the significance of pets and the place they hold in our families and our passionate and dedicated team are committed to providing a high level of customer service to our valued clients. We offer high standards of customer service with fantastic animal care and we have great relationships with our clients.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Receptionist to join our fantastic team of 3 vets and 6 nurses. The right candidate will possess a positive attitude and have a passion for animals, the recipe for providing superior care. We are able to offer Part-Time or Full-Time hours for the right candidate.

What we are looking for:

  • A minimum 1-2 years’ experience in Reception duties / Veterinary Nursing
  • The ability to work well within a team environment and work autonomously.
  • Possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Be able to multi-task, remain calm under pressure and be detail orientated.
  • A willingness to learn and inform our clients about animal health products.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing multiple incoming telephone lines as well as serving clients.
  • Booking appointments and Ezyvet diary management.
  • Taking payments and balancing the till at the end of the day.
  • Product sales and client education.
  • Ordering stock and general stock control duties
  • Computer data entry and general administration.
  • Managing the reminder system and sending out client letters.
  • Unpacking of daily orders and stocking shelves.
  • Ensuring front of house is always clean and presentable.
