Account Manager - Out of Home

About the role

We have a great opportunity for a driven and passionate Account Manager to join our Out of Home (Foodservice) team.

Partnering closely with our National Business team, your role will act as the conduit between our business and the distributor network within your territory. You will be responsible for optimising sales and business growth within the Out of Home channel.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

  • Exceeding monthly, quarterly and yearly targets that encompass main focus areas of distribution, Volume and GSV;
  • Effective planning, including efficient and consistent month and quarter call cycle, building and negotiating strategic account plans, call planning and taking part in trade shows;
  • Building strong relationships with distributor managers and owners;
  • Training and educating distributors on the Freedom Foods range;
  • Generating new business opportunities through key end user accounts to achieve range within your distributor network; and
  • Utilising your selling skills to ensure Freedom Foods products are ranged.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to demonstrate your understanding of the industry and influencing skills to really help grow our Company and drive performance. 

You will form part of a  highly dynamic and results orientated  team, motivated by our innovative products and our brands. You will be passionate about the food and coffee industry and thrive in a fast paced and agile working environment.

Additionally, you will have:

  • The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, customers and internal stakeholders,
  • Experience within the Out of Home category,
  • Experience with distributors is desirable but the right attitude and personality is preferred;
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team is essential;
  • High level negotiation skills and ability to influence outcomes;
  • High levels of tenacity and resilience, with a results orientated mentality; and
  • Strong analytical skills.
