Marketing Manager

About the role

Our Marketing Manager is a key member of the Commercial team, bringing skills, experience, commitment and passion to enhance, develop and add value to all marketing initiatives. This role will be responsible for the development and implementation of all elements of the marketing mix in order to achieve and exceed budgeted volumes, revenues, market share and profitability. 

The Marketing Manager will have a broad responsibility for development and execution of all communications including creative, media and the day to day management of associated agencies, NPD management & executional launch, consumer activations and coordination of all marketing programs across the portfolio. 

A key driver to success will be to deliver marketing through strategic planning to accelerate growth for our brands.

  • Managing all marketing for the company and activities within the marketing department;
  • Developing the marketing strategy for the company in line with company objectives;
  • Lead and manage projects to increase brand awareness and market share;
  • Research and analyse competitor pricing, promotion, NPD and tactics in the market to identify the most suitable strategies for the company's product and branding;
  • Manage all strategic and operational aspects of the marketing function, including development of a comprehensive marketing strategy (a mix of ATL and BTL);
  • Identify continuously opportunities to drive the brand's growth beyond the objectives and lead the projects' deliveries; and
  • Identify continuously risks against the brand's performance and implement actions to offset them. 

About you

You will be passionate and a driven self-starter, ready to grow with us and take your career to the next level.

Together with demonstrated success in a similar role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Business;
  • 5 - 10 years Marketing experience, within the FMCG industry;
  • Strong leadership skills in managing teams and implementing key business initiatives;
  • Results oriented with a high level of initiative and assertiveness;
  • Strong cross-functional project management skills within a fast and agile environment;
  • Ability to comprehensively understand and convert consumer, category, competitor, and channel insights into actionable plans;
  • High energy, high creativity but ability to work through the basics too;
  • Excellent time management skills and an ability to prioritise;
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to maintain stakeholder engagement whilst building rapport; and
  • High level of stakeholder engagement and appropriate communication management.
