About the opportunity

We have opportunities available for Carer Recruitment & Support Workers to join our Child, Youth and Families program. The positions are permanent full time or part time, based at our Mount Waverley office. Responsibilities of the role include event coordination, audit and quality compliance, carer support, report writing and conducting interviews. The Carer Recruitment & Support Worker will drive the carer recruitment, assessment and training processes for potential and accredited caregivers and volunteers.

About you

To be successful in your application you will have:

  • A Certificate IV in Youth Work or equivalent (essential)
  • A tertiary degree in social work or related field (desirable)
  • Demonstrated experience in working with children and young people who have experienced past trauma and abuse
  • Previous experience working in a supervisor or leadership role
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain positive and effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to maintain comprehensive case files, consumer records and reports in accordance with program requirement
