EXECUTIVE HEAD CHEF

As one of the leading companies in its sector, our client has been delivering first class services to Australians for over 25 years.  A highly values driven organisation, its Western Australian footprint is currently across 15 sites and a workforce of over 1,000.

Reporting to the General Manager of Hospitality Services, the Executive Head Chef is a “hands-on” role, leading a large-scale production kitchen which operates Monday to Friday with a team of five Chefs and 30 Kitchen Attendants. This position is focused on creating and delivering innovative and targeted whole of food service offerings across this organisation’s many locations.

Using the art of ‘Cook Chill’ cooking, this kitchen produces 8,000 meal items per week for a range of dietary requirements. You will be responsible for managing safe and efficient food service programs, ensuring exemplary production planning, kitchen resources, customer service and quality control.

We seek a Qualified Chef with well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills, and significant kitchen experience in a hospitality of large catering environment. It is envisaged that you will have first class leadership credentials, previous menu planning experience, a strong and up to date understanding of HACCP legislation and best practice, as well as commercial acumen and a track record of improving standards.
