Service Development Support Officer (12 Month Contract)

About Us?
The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH) leads the development, planning and deliver of comprehensive primary health care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in South East Queensland.


Within this position your will be responsible for supporting the active utilization of the SoC eLearning and Resources platform. You will be the single point of contact for the IUIH Network in relation to the day-to-day maintenance, support and enrolling users to the platform. The role will also be vital in providing support for external Licensees of the IUIH SoC eLearning and Resources Package.

About the Role:

  • A key point of contact for the IUIH network in relation to day-today maintenance and support
  • Provide initial training, along with ongoing refresher training and support, to key managers and “champions” within IUIH and member services, to ensure they are equipped to support uptake within their own service environments
  • Be point of contact for requests from external services interested in securing access to The Package
  • Provide support for external Licensees of the IUIH SoC eLearning and Resources Package

Essential:

  • Willingness to travel across SEQ as required
  • Current Criminal history (willing to obtain)
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence
  • Personable, proactive and client focused
  • Demonstrated ability to meet targets and performance outcomes
  • Ability to build key relationships with internal and external professionals

Desirable, but not mandatory:

  • Previous experience of working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients
