About the role
The Participant Peer Support Worker will work within Baptcare's Mental Health and Wellbeing Programs. They will work alongside Care Coordinators, providing additional brief intervention support for targeted individuals. This will be focussed on stigma, coming to terms with their Mental illness or their experience of the service system.

Duties, skills and experience
* Assisting clients who are struggling to come to terms with a Mental health diagnosis or their experience of Mental Health systems
* Building rapport with clients who are distrusting of services/ difficult to engage
* Sharing recovery journey with people who have mental health challenges
* Mentoring clients for exploring coping strategies
* Delivering peer support groupwork model for clients
