Boilermaker - Day Shift
 

AHG Refrigerated Logistics (AHG RL) represents Australia’s only truly national temperature controlled supply chain network as a result of bringing together; Scott’s, Rand, Harris and JAT to form one single business.  With more than 60 years’ combined experience, AHG RL are leaders in refrigerated logistics, providing temperature controlled delivery and warehousing services to clients across Australia.

Due to continued growth AHG RL are currently looking for an experienced Boilermaker to join our Direk based team for a permanent Day Shift position.

Preferably with trade qualification in metal fabrication or 4 plus years’ experience within the metal trade industry.  You will be part of the Workshop Team working primarily on our fleet of prime movers, performing general maintenance and repairs in line with NHVAS guidelines.

You will need to be:

  • A fully qualified Boilermaker or experienced within the metal trade industry
  • Able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role, or the ability to apply the skills and aptitude necessary to make a real contribution to the success of our Workshop operations.
  • Reliable and have a sound work ethic
  • Confident in MIG and ARC welding
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings including weld symbols
  • Confident in setting up and/or operating hand and machine tools, welding equipment or computer numerically controlled machines
  • Able to demonstrate a strong focus on WHS
  • Confident in managing and prioritising workloads
