Exciting opportunity for an experience marketing professional to join the team as our Head of Marketing.

Wisdom Properties Group is an award winning builder with a passion for design, quality and creating an exceptional customer experience. We offer unique brands such as Wisdom Homes, HOOT Homes, Wisdom Pools & Landscapes and Canvas Quarter.

In this role you will be responsible for creating the marketing and communication content and strategy for the Company.  This position has responsibility for all marketing activities across the Group.
  
Reporting to the General Manager, responsibilities include:
 
Brand Strategy
  • Manage the Group brands in line with the Company’s strategic vision
  • Ownership and ongoing review of the branding strategy for the Group
  • Lead the planning, development and implementation of marketing strategy
  • Ongoing review of the marketing strategy to ensure adaptability to meet market opportunities and challenges
  • Directs the efforts of the communications at the strategic and tactical levels. Areas Include Media (traditional and social – all platforms), E-Campaigns, Public Relations, Events, and Marketing.
  • Engage and manage external stakeholders including marketing consultants, web developers, creative agencies, graphic designers etc
  • Reporting on marketing initiatives, including at Board level
  • Budget management – to deliver all marketing activity within the agreed budget
 
Campaign Development and Management
  • Development of campaign proposals for the Group
  • Develop creative builds
  • End-to-end campaign management (preparation for on-time launch through to reporting)
  • Communications and relationship management with campaign stakeholders & contributors; engaging stakeholders as required
  • Plan, direct and manage all photography and filming requirements for branding, product, portfolio and campaigns
  • Drive co-operative partnerships and agreements and management of third-party digital agency
  • Manage all signage requirements for promotional campaigns– planning and booking installation of campaigns
  • Develop campaign and monthly social media calendar
 
Social Media & External Communications
  • Digital platform management and development for the group
  • Website development and management of high-quality websites to maximise the customer experience and branding opportunities for all businesses within the group
  • Responsible for Social Media planning and advertising to support all campaigns
  • Oversee internal and external communications including digital and online social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter etc
  • Website strategy and driving SEM, SEO and content strategies across digital marketing; website, social media, email campaigns and search engine marketing and optimisation.
  • Online marketing evaluation and analysis reporting
  • Direct Marketing requirements in relation to in company promotions, functions and catalogues
 
CRM
  • Demand and Lead Generation management and reporting
  • Database management – coordinate the maintenance of the company databases and maintain updated records for all company campaigns (Direct Mail Campaigns & EDM)
  • Reporting on advertising and website results with evaluation and analytics reporting as well as Search Engine Marketing and Optimisation Reporting
  • Development and creation of marketing collateral, branded items, event invitations, promotional material, signage, etc
 
Special events, promotions and projects
  • Execution of the annual program of events - both internal and external company events. Some annual events
  • Control & maintain event budgets, the event design, direction and production including everything from the Invitations, RSVP’s, catering, run sheets, locations, to the Scheduling etc
  • Control and manage all Company Sponsorships/Partnerships related to all events
  • Budget management – to deliver all marketing activity within the agreed budget
  • Design, plan and run special promotions
 
Essential and Desirable Expertise
 
  • Degree or tertiary qualifications in Marketing
  • 4 to 5 years’ experience within a Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or events role
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and driving marketing strategy with a strong track record in delivering innovative marketing initiatives demonstrating commercial acumen
  • A proven ability to oversee all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities
  • Demonstrated experience in development, communication and promotion of brand and products.
  • Capacity to work in a busy, commercial and competitive environment
  • Experience in post campaign analysis
  • Previous experience managing a marketing budget.
  • High-level written communication skills
  • Operational and commercial experience in driving change and supporting improved profitability
  • Intermediate to advanced competency in
    • o Microsoft programs, such as Excel, Word and Outlook, Adobe Photoshop
    • o Digital Marketing Platform experience
    • o Social Media / Google
    • o Advanced CRM knowledge
  • Demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to effectively support, coach and mentor team members
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills to engage with colleagues and influence, build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
